1st and 3rd persons

We learn the most at a moderate level of stress.  It is proven.  In the past year, I have un-done a lot of my calming practices because of this fact.  I have allowed myself a persistent state of moderate stress and concern (regarding my studies) to enable my optimal learning state.  However, I think I can do better than this.

In the above sense, stress is only a tool and, as such, I need not carry it with me to bed.  It will be good cognitive gymnastics:  To allow myself to fret and worry during the day so that I maintain my motivation to study superhuman hours—then to remove my self come night so that I may better relax and appreciate my day’s accomplishments.
